Fouls/Penalties
1. A penalty is when a player does something illegal to the running of the game
2. The penalty can either cause to a technical foul or a personal foul
3. Clock runs means the clock will run after the foul if it was already running before it happened (ex. iRell. walked)
4. Explained penalties
- 4.1 Travel - Offensive player is off the pod and moves the pod, will result in defense ball.
- 4.2 3 Man Press - When 3 Defensive player is on the opposite side of the court, trying to steal the ball. Only 2 players can try to commit the steal. Offense ball still.
- 4.3 Shooting Foul - When the Defense player put the "mats" on the roller, before the pod is place. It will result in free throw (attempt matter where the offense player is at), if you read rule 7 Section (Defense) it says you can place early on only red but not blue if theirs a move in pod during play happens the ball automatically goes to the team who had it to inbound it.
- 4.4 Unsportsmanlike conduct - Player does something offensive to a player or a ref, or acts in a way against the good running of the game - It is a technical, two technical you are ejected from the game, the opposing team gets FT, and the possession doesn't change
- 4.5 5 Second Violation Is when the offense has the ball, and have 5 seconds to pass the ball to a teammate if they fail, it will result in defensive team ball.
- 4.6 8 Second Violation - Is when the offense has the ball, and has to make it across the other side of the court in 8 seconds, if they fail it will result in defense team ball.
- 4.7 Too many men on the court - Will be tech on the player and will consist of the opposing team gets FT, and the possession doesn't change
- 4.8 Behind the Arc - Your allowed to get a rebound from behind the ark, as long as you don't cross it before rebound is placed, if this is done the opposing team will be granted the ball
- 4.9 Back court Violation - Is when you pass the half and you move back and go past to the other side
- 4.10 3 Second Offensive Violation - An offensive player shall NOT remain in the key for more than three consecutive seconds. If the ref calls a 3 second violation, the ball is immediately turned over to the opposing team.
- 4.11 3 Second Defensive violation - It is assessed when a member of the defending team spends more than three seconds in the free throw lane while not actively guarding an opponent. To be considered actively guarding, a defender must be within 1 space of length of an opponent.
5. A ref can eject a player if he acts in a way against the running of the game, in repetitive times with the intention of preventing the game continuation.
Defense
1. All players on the court will be given rights to play the game
2. If the opposing team has the "ball" you will have to play "defense" and try to deny them from scoring or going down the court
3. Each person will have rights to make the shot "miss" by placing the coin/tile at the same time as the pod and it dropping before or the same time as the pod drops.
4. Only the point guard can press the offense(unless :90 seconds on clock and down by 14 points or less, can be full press)
5. To block the ball you must be in front of the player diagonal or in front of the basket(if your on the side of them, the shot is not blocked)
- 6.1 In the front 3 spaces of the paint (near the basket) you can only face block by having 2 defenders near the shooter (angle or not, behind and sideways counts)

7. If u place early on roller it's a foul,it's 2 points +1 if you stack the pod on the coin and they fall together
Offense
1. All players on the court will be given rights to play the game
2. The game begins with a jump ball at half court, where two players (who are ready) must attempt to sit on the pod when it is dropped on the center tile. The referee will be asked to redo the jump ball if a player is to go on the tile before the pod is dropped.
3. The two players who aren't involved in the jump ball are to stay behind the half court line until the pod is dropped. Any trespassing before the 'ball' is dropped results in another jump ball.
4. The ball must be tipped back to another player for it to be in there possession, the play must say "pass" or "tip" or any other passing involved word to tip the ball off to there teammate.
5. Players can move the pod once the game is on using their rights, they must sit or 'quick sit' to dribble up the court.
6. Any non-sit or non-quick sit action will be deemed a walk and the ball will be awarded to the other team via inbound.
7. A player may successfully dunk the ball by placing it on the z-shelf without being confronted within a space by 2 defenders, it has to be direct, must be within the 6 space radius of the paint, a player may also lay the ball up on the single roller or may lay it up within the PAINT on only the z-shelf.
8. A player can successfully make a 2 pointer, the "ball" must be placed on the 1st rollers, if your going to shoot from Mid-Range To be clear you can only shoot on the 1st roller when your in the arc or standing on arc
9. To attempt a 3 pointer, a player must be behind the perimeter (within a 1 space boundary) and shoot the ball on one of the blue rollers furthest from the net (left or right). It is good, or no good depending on whether a coin is placed on the closest roller following the shot, or if it is placed on any roller and it drops before the pod does.
10. A player may not, under any circumstance, shoot on the middle roller in mid-range/three pointer, it will be considered a miss, and will make an outcome of a rebound.
League
1. The league runs with 6-8 teams with max. 7 players each
2. To sign a player, the team owner has to offer a contract via forum and the player accept it. Or if the player plays for a team without signing any contract he's automatically accepting a, 1-Season, OV: At will, PV: No Court time for 2 games, contract
3. The league currently has a council to own and run RBA
4. The top 2 teams of each conference makes playoffs, along with the other second best teams overall (having a crossover if needed),
5. Each team plays every team in their conference, and some teams non-conference
6. Players must respond to the Whistle. If the Whistle is blown, and a player does not stop dribbling, they will be given a technical foul.
General
1. Games are played with 3 players a-side
2. Games are played with four 10:00, after the 2nd quarter team must switch sides.
3. Games shot clock will be like the NBA shot clock violation. (will be counted from 24-0 by the time keeper)
4. Each team will have rights to place the "ball" on the rollers on the court.
5. The game uses NBA rules for almost everything.
6. When the offense scores 3 or 2 points, they'll be awarded with them.
7. All substitutes must remain on bench, or behind the iced bars or a technical foul will be called.
8. In case both sides end up with the same score in the regular time intended, a 2:00 sec OT will take place, if the game is tied after the first OT the game will continue until the clock runs out and someone is up by any amount of points.
9. Games use a ref crew to run the games, they can call penalties when they see them, or review the calls in a vote system if there's no video. The crew is composed of:
- 9-1. Main Referee - Call the fouls, move the ball, and check team players and manage the crowd.
- 9-2. Time Keeper - Run the clock during the game, stopping it for fouls, out of bounds, timeouts, free throws among others (NBA). Call delay 4 seconds after the ball is inbound (and game is moving), counting down from 20 to 0 (20,15,10,5,0).
- 9-3. Stat Keeper - Keep record of all game stats, keep track of the score.
- 9-4. (Optional) Hyper-cam - Record the game, review the play when a official review is made
